Ask a panel of experts what innovation is, and you will get dozens of different definitions:
it could be the introduction of new services, the development of a new product or process, or simply applying a technology inspired by what is done in other industries.
For us, innovate is doing something differently, challenging the status quo, asking every day how things can be done better; do not think about disruptive inventions only, any step in the right direction is an innovation.

SYSTEMS ENGINEERING
From all the definitions, we do consider the one given by the NASA as the most comprehensive: "systems engineering” is defined as a methodical, multi-disciplinary approach for the design, realization, technical management, operations, and retirement of a system. A “system” is the combination of elements that function together to produce the capability required to meet a need.

This not only takes into consideration all the elements that make a system, including
personnel and processes, but also the complete lifecycle of the system. This forces to look at the "big picture", the environment and the context in which it will be used; it requires a broad technical knowledge, coupled with an analytic and logic way of thinking.
